Minas Company for Medical Equipment & Appliance is a member of Goran Group, one of the diversified business groups in Iraq. Since its establishment in 2009 in Erbil, Minas has grown from a specialized medical supplier into a multi-sector distributor serving healthcare, cosmetics, dental care, and consumer product markets across Iraq and the region.

Foundation and Early Growth (2009–2012)

Minas Company was founded with the mission of improving access to high-quality healthcare supplies in Iraq. Initially, the company focused on distributing medical instruments, laboratory equipment, and disposable medical supplies to hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare institutions.

In 2010, Minas expanded its healthcare portfolio by establishing a Dental Care Department, supplying dental instruments, materials, and clinical consumables to dental clinics and professionals.

Expansion into Cosmetics and International Partnerships (2013–2016)

In 2013, Minas entered the cosmetics and cosmeceutical sector, marking a significant milestone in its development. The company became the official distributor of the natural cosmetics brand Biobalance (Turkey) and began applying pharmaceutical-level quality standards to cosmetic product distribution.

A major phase of expansion followed in 2014 and 2015, when Minas strengthened its international prtnerships and manufacturing capabilities. During this period TSG Factory was installed, leading to the launch of the Rensa brand for household products. Several international brands were added to the company portfolio, including Becalmbaby (UK), Smoothia (UK), Dermaderm (Turkey), and Byphasse (Spain).

In 2016, Minas launched the Evix Plus brand, further expanding its presence in consumer and personal care products.

Growth in Professional Beauty and Cosmeceuticals (2020–2024)

In 2020, Minas entered the professional beauty sector with the introduction of Pretty Professional Brushes, a premium brand offering high-quality makeup brushes and professional beauty tools.

The company continued its expansion in 2024 with the launch of Bioblend, a new cosmeceutical brand designed to combine dermatological science with modern skincare innovation. This period also marked a stronger focus on international market development and strategic partnerships.

Strengthening the Dental Healthcare Sector (2025)

In 2025, Minas introduced Bioannova, a specialized dental care brand designed to support dental professionals and oral healthcare providers with high-quality products. This launch reinforced the company’s long-standing commitment to the dental healthcare sector.
